+DAY 01 : Delhi to Leh
Fly from Delhi to Leh
+DAY 02 : Leh Sightseeing
After breakfast visit for local sightseeing of Hall of Fame, GurudwaraPathar Sahib, Magnetic Hill, Sangam View where Indus &Zanskar River meet.
+DAY 03 : Leh to Nubravalley
After breakfast at hotel drive towards Nubra valley. Popularly known as Dorma or "the valley of flowers" via Khardungla Pass - the world's one of the highest motorable road (5602 mts). On arrival, check-in to your Hotel. Later in the afternoon, visit the Diskit Monastery and the giant statue of Maitreya Buddha which is the tallest Buddha statue in Ladakh. Later visit the white sand dunes at Hunder where you can enjoy the Double Humped Bactrian camel ride (ride on direct payment basis). Overnight stay in Nubra.
+DAY 04 : Nubravalley to Leh
After breakfast you will leave for Leh on the same route to Nubra. Afternoon you will be taken to visit Shanti Stupa and Leh Palace.
+DAY 05 : Leh to Pengong and back
After breakfast you will leave for Leh on the same route to Nubra. Afternoon you will we taken to visit Shanti Stupa and Leh Palace.
+DAY 06 : Leh to Kargil
Leave for Kargil after breakfast and visit Hall of Fame, (Army museum) Pather Sahib Gurudwara, Magnetic Hill, confluence of the mighty indus and zanskar river, lamayuru monastery, moonland, Mulbeck chamba and finally reach Kargil by evening. O/N stay at Kargil Tourist Camp
+DAY 07 : Kargil to Srinagar
 Leave for Sonamarg after breakfast visiting Drass war memorial, Tiger Hill, Tololing Hill experiencing the sacrifices of Indian army during the infamous Kargil war of 1999 and finally reach Sonamarg by afternoon, get dropped at your Hotel.
+DAY 08 : Srinagar Sightseeing
Start early morning by Helicopter to Panchtari and Panchtarni to Holy cave is 6 km trek/doli/horse.Darshan, pooja, aarti at Amarnath cave and back to Sonmarg

Drive to Srinagar and sightseeing in Srinagar

+1-Q How can we reach Leh-Ladakh?
There are three ways to reach leh-Ladakh- 1) you can take flight from Delhi to Leh from major airlines such as Indian Airlines or Jet Airways. 2) You can take road journey either from Manali or Srinagar. It takes 2 days journey (474 kilometers) from Manali to Leh viaKeylong with a night stop in Sarchu. On the other hand, Srinagar to Leh will take 2 days ( 434kms) with a night halt at Kargil. All the roads remain open from May to October.
+2-Q Is there any lack of oxygen in Leh-Ladakh?
Anybody travelling 10,000 above sea level will find difficulty in breathing or is likely to fall prey to altitude sickness. It happens due to low level of atmospheric oxygen. It can be easily taken care but it should not be neglected.

Besides first two days of acclimatization and sightseeing, you need a minimum five days time to explore. You need 15 days to explore major parts as many villages and monasteries of interest are scattered far away.

T-shirts and trekpants will do during the daytime but after evening the climate gets chilly and one requires jacket and pullover.

The best time to visit Leh is between May and September, when the weather is the warmest. Ladakh doesn't experience rain like elsewhere in India, so the monsoon season is the perfect time to travel to Leh-Ladakh.
