+Day 01 : Arrival in Kathmandu

Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, our representative will meet you at the Tribhuvan International Airport & take you to the hotel. In the evening we will have a group meeting for two hours of briefing for the Yatra. Overnight in the hotel in Kathmandu.

+DAY 02 : Rudrabhishek at Pashupatinath temple and Sightseeing

Early in the morning we will perform Rudrabhishek in Pashupatinath temple. After lunch, proceed for sightseeing to Budhanilkantha and Darbar square. Overnight in the hotel in Kathmandu.

+DAY 03 : Fly to Lhasa

After breakfast get transferred to Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu to board your flight to Lhasa, Tibet. After arriving at Gonggar Airport in Lhasa it will take about 2 hours for the group to reach the hotel.
Spend the first day free to acclimatize with the altitude as Kathmandu is at 1200 m above sea level and Lhasa is at 3650m. If time and health permits we will visit the sera monastery in the evening. Overnight in Lhasa hotel.

+DAY 04 : Acclimatization day in Lhasa

After breakfast take a tour of Lhasa visiting Jokhang Temple, Barkhor Street and Potala Palace.

Day 05 : Drive to Shigatse (3900 m) - 350 km / 7-8 hrs.
DAY 06 : Drive to Saga (4350 m) 608 km. / 12-13 hrs.
+DAY 07 : Drive Saga to Lake Mansarovar (4750m, 14,180 ft) 450 km Travel time: 8 – 9 hours

The road condition is fair. Enjoy vast Tibetan plateau, landscape changes from sandy dunes to rocky vistas to savannah type. This is the most auspicious day for all of us, as some of you might have waited for so long, maybe since many life times to get the first glimpse of holy Mt. Kailas and sacred Lake Mansarovar. We will perform half Mansarovar Parikrama by jeep. Overnight at guesthouse / camp at Mansarovar.

+DAY 08 : Rest/acclimatization at Lake Mansarovar

Experience of being in the abode of God: Puja, Havan-worship, Meditation, Holy dip, Tarpan etc. Here relax and explore around the Mansarovar area. Overnight at same guest house.

+DAY 09 : Drive Darchen to Tarboche (13 km) and trek to Derapuk (12 km)-First day of Parikrama Trekking time: 6 to 7 hours

Drive about one hour to Darchen and then Drive about 13 km. to Tarboche. (For those yatris who are not joining for Parikrama, they can do a small parikrama about 100 mt. of Tarboche flag, which is also considered as Parikrama of holy Mt. Kailas). Parikram will start on foot or horse/yak-back from here. The trail leads to few ups and downs till Derapuk. Be blessed by seeing the magnificent view of north face, of holy Mt. Kailas.
Overnight in guest house/camp.

+DAY 10 : Trek from Derapuk to Dolmalapass to Zhutulpuk Valley (4760m) 15 km – Second day of Parikrama. Trekking or Horseback time: 9 to 10 hours

This is the toughest day of the yatra. To Dolmala, it is 6 kilometers uphill trekking. At Dolmala pray and perform puja for 10 to 15 minutes. After Dolomala pass is Gaurikund. From here you will start descending for another 6 kilometers. Trail is very slippery and you have to hop from rock to rock. Please use your walking stick. A final steep descending staircase brings you to the valley floor. Additional 4 kilometers of gradual walk to campsite. Overnight at camp located on beautiful site.

+DAY 11 : Trek from Zhutulpuk to end of parikrama and Drive to Mansarovar and to Saga – Third day of Parikrama Trekking time: 5 to 6 hours

Very pleasant walk. Trail is very beautiful. Many caves, Mani stones and birds can be seen. This is valley of enlightenment. Land cruiser will be waiting near Darchen where our Parikrama ends. Drive about two hours to ‘Tirthputri’. From the spiritual point of view this place is as important as Mt.Kailash and Mansarovar. We will spend Half an hour here and then we will drive to Lake Mansarovar for final holy bath and puja, then continue drive back to Saga. Overnight in guest house.

+DAY 12 : Drive Saga to Shigatse (608 km)

We are now on return journey. Overnight at guest house in Shigatse.

DAY 13 : Drive Shigatse to Lhasa
DAY 14 : Fly from Lhasa to Kathmandu
+DAY 15 : Fly Kathmandu to delhi to Leh

Catch a flight from Kathmandu to Delhi to Leh. On arriving in Leh, transfer to your hotel. After completing the check-in formalities, the day is at leisure. Placed at an altitude of 3542 meters, the enchanting Leh is one of the most popular tourist destinations of India. It is extremely important that you acclimatize yourself to the high pressure of the high altitude so that you can enjoy your vacations here. Overnight stay.

+DAY 16 : Leh Sightseeing

After breakfast visit for local sightseeing of Hall of Fame, GurudwaraPathar Sahib, Magnetic Hill, Sangam View where Indus & Zanskar River meet.

  • The Hall of Fame: Located near the LehAirfiled, is a museum constructed as well as maintained by the Indian Army in the memory of the soldiers who had lost their lives during the Indo-Pak wars.
  • Gurdwara Shri PatharSahib : It is situated on the Srinagar-Leh Road, 25kms before the Leh. It is very beautiful and it was created in memory of the founder of Sikh religion and the first guru, Guru Nanak Dev Ji.
  • Magnetic Hill : It is a so-called "gravity hill" is located on the Leh-Kargil-Srinagar national highway, about 30 km from Leh, at a height of 11,000 feet above sea level. The alignment of the road with the slope of the background can give the illusion that cars are able to drift upwards.
  • Sangam Valley: It is a 48 kilometre drive from Leh and is the confluence of the rivers Indus and Zanskar. Just the view of Sangam Valley from the road above it can make you swoon in ecstasy. The colours of the two rivers can be distinctly seen at the confluence. Overnight stay in Leh.

+DAY 17 : Leh to Nubravalley 3-4 hrs. / 115 kms.

After breakfast at hotel drive towards Nubra valley. Popularly known as Dorma or "the valley of flowers" via Khardungla Pass - the world's one of the highest motorable road (5602 mts). On arrival, check-in to your Hotel. Later in the afternoon, visit the Diskit Monastery and the giant statue of Maitreya Buddha which is the tallest Buddha statue in Ladakh. Later visit the white sand dunes at Hunder where you can enjoy the Double Humped Bactrian camel ride (ride on direct payment basis). Overnight stay in Nubra.

+DAY 18 : Nubravalley to Leh

After breakfast you will leave for Leh on the same route to Nubra. Afternoon you will we taken to visit Shanti Stupa and Leh Palace.

  • Shanti Stupa : Located on the hilltop at Changspa. The Stupa was constructed by a Japanese Buddhist organization, known as ʹThe Japanese for World Peaceʹ. The aim behind the construction of the Stupa was to commemorate 2500 years of Buddhism and to promote World Peace.
  • Leh Palace: Built in the 17th century, it was built as the residential palace for the King SinggeNamgyal. Much smaller but resembling the Potala in Lhasa, Leh Palace is now in ruins. It has nine storeys and has been deserted since the royal family shifted to the Stok Palace in 1830s. Overnight stay in Leh.

+DAY 19 : Drive from Leh to Pangong Lake & back ( 148 kms one way )

Visit Pangong Lake, shooting point of popular bollywood film 3 idiots, enjoy dinner by lake side.O/N at Camp. (Pack Lunch will be served) Drive back to Leh and reach the Hotel by night. O/N at Hotel. Hotel Glacier View.

+DAY 20 : Drive from Leh to Kargil ( 205 kms )

Leave for Kargil after breakfast and visit Hall of Fame, (Army museum) Pather Sahib Gurudwara, Magnetic Hill, confluence of the mighty indus and zanskar river, lamayuru monastery, moonland, Mulbeck chamba and finally reach Kargil by evening. Overnight stay at Kargil Tourist Camp.

+DAY 21 : Drive Kargil to Sonmarg ( 125 kms )

Leave for Sonamarg after breakfast visiting Drass war memorial, Tiger Hill, Tololing Hill experiencing the sacrifices of Indian army during the infamous Kargil war of 1999 and finally reach Sonamarg by afternoon, get dropped at your Hotel.

+DAY 22 : Holy cave and back to Sonmarg

Start early morning by Helicopter to Panchtarni and Panchtarni to Holy cave is 6 kms trek/doli/horse. Darshan, pooja, aarti at Amarnath cave and back to Sonmarg.

+DAY 23 : Drive to Srinagar and sightseeing

Drive to Srinagar and sightseeing.

DAY 24 : Srinagar sightseeing
+DAY 25 : Fly to Jammu and Vaishnovidevi darshan

Fly to jammu. We will start going up to Vaishnovidevi temple and back to the hotel, overnight at hotel.

+DAY 26 : Katra to Shivkhodi and back to Katra

In the morning we will drive 80 kms to Ransoo and from Ransoo its 4 kms trek to visit Shivkhodi cave, back 4 kms down to Ransoo and drive 80 kms back to Katra.

DAY 27 : Departure : Fly from Jammu to your destination.
